How do I upload my Voice Memos to Gleam from the Files App?

Make a new directory in the Files App

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Files app. Can't see the blue Files app icon on your Home Screen? Just swipe down, then search for the Files app.

2. In the Files app, create a new directory—the option is in the icon. You can do this either in your iCloud Drive or "On this device."

3. You're ready to go to voice memos and move audio to your new directory!

Move an audio file into your new files folder

1. Go to the Voice Memos app on your iPhone.

2. Tap the recording you want to export, tap

, then tap share .

3. Scroll down, tap Save to Files, navigate to the new directory you created where you want to save the recording, and then tap Save.

Uploading to Gleam

  1. Open Gleam.

  2. Navigate to your profile (at the bottom right) and tap the "Upload Audio" tab. This opens the Files app's selector.

  3. Navigate to your created folder and select the audio file you want to upload.

  4. Add the usual details in Gleam like you do for a recording.

And you're all set! It will be added to your list of gems and polish!
